Join Sophia Maamouri for an introduction to the principals of Ayurveda, the mother of all holistic healing systems based on Nature. This standing view of wellbeing will clarify the connections between your daily habits, your health and the natural world.


In this workshop you will discover new ways to balance your:

Following this workshop, Sophia will be offering a 4-class series “Spring Cleaning for the Body & Mind” on how to rejuvenate your body for the winter/spring transition. You will learn how to do a safe, home cleanse/detox the Ayurvedic way and rejuvenate your body systems to feel energized - a spring cleaning for your body and mind! 


Sophia Maamouri is a local Ayurvedic practioner, Massage Therapist and Yoga Teacher. Through her years of extensive training, Sophia has come to believe that health is the free expression of our true nature. She is passionate about teaching self-care and self-healing and how to use traditional and natural medicine to support ourselves and our families. Expand the quality of your life with mind-body awareness.

 Do you feel like you are stuck in the mud? Is your body achey, tired, stiff? Is your current outlook often negative and hopeless? Do you sense that the quality of your life is NOT progressing? 


The stressors of our current world are making us feel STUCK. Our minds are stuck in habitual behavior patterns that don’t support us and our bodies respond to the stress by becoming stuck too which is experienced as tightness, pain or immobility. 


In this workshop you will:

1. Connect with yourself and become aware of how your are “stuck," both mentally and physically


2. Understand the power of the mind over the quality of your life 


3. Empower yourself with the tools of Resilience and Somatic Movement to cultivate an expanding mind and pain-free movement**


Erin Girzone is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher and somatic movement teacher in-training. Kelley Halter is a resilience expert with a Masters in Psychology. Both women live in Waterford and operate their own businesses, Good Health is a Habit Wellness Studio and Resilience with Kelley.
