Why Chair Yoga with Susan?
"The goals of my chair yoga classes are similar to the other yoga classes I teach, without moving down to the floor. Focusing on posture and breath, you will be guided through gentle stretches, improving flexibility and strength, and decreasing stress, anxiety, and depression. Various pose options are given, making this class available to all.
As Arthur Ashe said 'Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.'
Those new to yoga and those with some experience find chair yoga a safe way to strengthen the body and increase mental well-being in a community of others looking for the same thing. "
