Erin Girzone founded the Good Health is a Habit wellness studio in Waterford, ME. The peaceful town of Waterford is in a beautiful area with hills and lakes and it is in the territory of the Abenaki and Wabanaki. On a daily basis, Erin is honored to operate a business with a mission of helping others improve their quality of life through mindful movement.
At the studio, everyone is seen as a body that is designed to move and a mind that is designed to learn and grow. With Erin’s help, you will break down the box you have stuck yourself in. You will discover you CAN move well and you ARE incredibly strong.
It became clear to Erin early on in her career that good health is a result of the culmination of one’s habits. As John C. Maxwell said, “You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine.”
When you work with Erin, her understanding of this becomes quite clear. Changing your life starts with recognizing the daily routine of your mind. As Erin works with you on a physical level she is also supporting a shift in your mindset, a profound step that allows you to change your actions. Erin encourages you to stop judging yourself, to stop worrying about all of the details and to start with something small, a realistic step in the right direction. Erin will tell you it doesn’t matter if you don’t have official yoga pants, or that you have deemed yourself inflexible or that you can’t do a push up yet! The reality is, you are not what you wear, we ALL have physical limitations and you can’t improve how you move or how strong you are if you don’t start somewhere.
Erin understands that we all want the same thing - good health, more happiness and a sense of balance within our daily lives. Erin and her fellow instructors at the studio aim to support your daily routine with services that connect you with your potential. There are a variety of services offered including private functional/somatic movement sessions, group classes in functional fitness, yoga, somatic movement and frequent self-care workshops.

Teaching primarily a Vinyasa flow, Jane has found a comfortable and rewarding home teaching a chair yoga practice.
"I am 62 years young, but feel and act much younger! Yoga has definitely helped with that. Chair yoga is such a great place to start understanding yoga and is easy to carry over to a home practice. Moving is the key to aging well with strength and grace.
I have lived in Maine all my life and come from the 7th generation of Denison’s and Whitney’s in Harrison. I have 7 grandchildren aging from 2-18. They all live In New England. My youngest granddaughter lives in West Paris, and has already mastered some yoga poses!
I encourage everyone to try yoga. It is a peaceful way to stretch and strengthen, and every practice feels like coming home." ~ Jane

Yoga Teacher
"Hi, I’m Adrienne! I’ve been teaching Yoga since 2013 after I completed my YTT in Denver, Colorado, at CorePower Yoga. Since then, I have taught in many different settings; studios, breweries, city parks, on mountain tops high in the Rockies, music festivals, and high school gyms. I enjoy teaching a slow and mindful flow that allows students to connect movement to mind, body, and breath. My favorite aspect of yoga is that it is, at its core, a practice for life. I believe that what we practice on our mats carries over into how we interact with the world. It is my goal in my yoga teaching and in my practice to allow space for exploring how the body reacts to the different poses. By connecting our breath to our movements and quieting the mind to notice those reactions, we start to make connections off of our mats. Making this connection, creating awareness within the body and our life is KEY for me. I also believe that yoga can be for everybody. While I continue to educate myself on inclusiveness and accessibility, I strive in every class to offer modifications, and to create classes mindfully so that students of all practice experiences may find what they need when they come to their mat. Yoga is my creative outlet and I truly enjoy sharing classes that will allow students to flow on their mats and into the world feeling lighter, more aware of themselves and the world around them, and deeply connected to themselves and community. I look forward to sharing some time together on our mats exploring, breathing, noticing, and finding deep rest and connection. Namaste."

Polarity Therapist, Intuitive Healer, Guide & Spiritual Teacher, Meditation Instructor & Motivation Speaker
I have had the honor of assisting thousands of people in healing through PTSD, physical challenges, emotional stresses, and so much more. Lecturing and facilitating healing techniques in public schools and Jouvinial services have been incredibly rewarding.
Meditation Workshops
In silence, we can hear the answers to our questions regarding ourselves and our loved ones.
I was inspired to write meditation workshops in 2001 when an academic teacher approached me to create a program to alleviate stress. I wrote a program teaching meditation techniques and teaching life coping skills. I have successfully taught meditation in many environments, such as CRA programs, Rockingham County Juvenile Services, and many small businesses. I have developed classes that help connect us to our higher selves, inner wisdom, and highest guidance.
Together with guidance, we can have a better understanding of ourselves. By discovering and releasing our fears and blocks and finding our truths, we will move forward in self-love, self-respect, and self-acceptance. I help clients realize their highest potential in life and help them to discover a more meaningful purpose.
The sun, moon, stars, rain, lakes, ocean, and mountains fill my heart and renew my spirit!!
Polarity Therapy
In 1998, I graduated from the Polarity Realization Institute in Ipswich, MA, where I studied Polarity Therapy and Energy Science. Polarity Therapy incorporates many of the Eastern Healing techniques.
These include Acupressure, Cranial Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Foot Reflexology, Shiatsu, Spinal Massage, and Chakra and Aura Clearing. Polarity Therapy releases blocked or clogged energy from the body. Stress and Emotional trauma block our energy from flowing through our bodies properly. The constriction of this energy flow creates physical pain, emotional distress, and disease. This constriction
makes it hard to make good choices and keeps us from moving forward in life and love.
Realigning and balancing this energy through the chakra system creates health and well-being on all levels, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. This strengthens us to move forward in our truth and creativity, leaving us with a sense of wholeness and peace.

As a Massage Therapist for the past 36 years, I have looked for a way to expand my practice of therapeutic bodywork. I am interested in a healing system that takes the complexity of the human beings into account. The ayurvedic and yogic tradition answered my longing.
I came to Maine in 1994 to pursue my dream of homesteading, and of living a simple and joyful life. I love to eat fresh food right out of the garden whenever possible; my husband and I grow most of it.
Being in nature, painting, knitting, hiking, playing with my dogs, gardening, traveling and exploring the world are some of my favorite activities.
My education started in the arts. I came to the U.S.A in 1982 to attend The Maryland Institute College of Art and earned a BFA in 1986. I was also drawn to the healing arts, which led me to a series of school from which I graduated: The Potomac Myotherapy Institute, The Kripalu School of Yoga and Ayurveda and The Yoga Life Institute of New Hampshire.
Some of my teachers are Dr.Satyanarayana Dasa, Joan Hanley in Art and Yoga, Thomas Moore, Dr. Douillard, Dr Lad, Dr. Ramadas and Dr. Blossom.
I believe that health is the free expression of our true nature.
Yoga and Ayurveda have a long tradition of wisdom to help us live more fully in an increasingly complicated world.
