Here at Good Health is a Habit, we want our yoga classes to serve as a mindful pause in your busy life, helping you connect with the mind, body and breath. You will be encouraged to breathe consciously and find strength and ease in your body as you move through various poses. Your practice is an opportunity to move mindfully, cultivate an intention and connect with yourself.
Join us for in-person classes starting or you may also continue to participate via Zoom or receive a recording! If the class times don't work with your schedule, no problem! Simply make a reservation for one and when the live class is finished, you will receive an email with access to the recorded class for the next 48 hours.

Taught by Kathryn Gardner, chair yoga is one of the gentlest forms available and offers all of the benefits of other yoga classes. Founded on mindfulness of the breath, body, mind & heart, this class encourages students to find a balance between support and challenge. A series of options are given for the postures, allowing students to develop their yoga practice using the chair for balance and support, without having to get up or down from the floor. Chair yoga reduces stress while increasing strength, flexibility, range of motion & balance. All bodies are welcome, and no experience is necessary.
Yoga with Erin
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00-10:15am
**Offered on the Back Lawn of the Waterford Library starting mid-June through August. Please park on the road and enter along the right-hand side of the building on the far side of the bench. Thank you! Because being outside is dependent on the weather, please check the top of the reservation page for weekly updates.
Erin recognizes that our being, or soma, is an integrated network of the physical body and our mental and emotional selves. All that we think, feel and do is experienced by our entire soma. If we are not deeply aware of our internal landscape, we are more likely to hold onto experiences that weigh us down. We quite literally get stuck in physical tension in the body and in unease in the mind.
A yoga practice can help us manage life’s stressors and reset. Erin’s yoga classes are a somatic experience that promotes self-awareness and internal connection. In these integrated yoga classes, Erin helps us understand what our bodies are actually doing in the poses we create. What is supporting and tensing? What is opening and relaxing? What is it like to truly balance effort and ease? Could it actually be true that doing less will benefit us more?
With Erin’s guidance, traditional yoga poses become less of a curious shape with a name, and more of an internal experience with a clear purpose around what we are doing and why. Through this deep self-awareness that Erin cultivates during practice, you will connect with yourself and rediscover the peace and ease that has been hidden under an accumulation of life’s stressors.

“I had been doing yoga for a couple of months when I decided to try the Chair Yoga. For me, it was a good fit; not too advanced and it really helped drive home the fundamentals, like paying attention to my breath, my body and my posture without judgment. I would definitely recommend this class.” - Lisa G.
"Erin is a truly gifted yoga instructor. She is not only well-educated and trained, she is a lovely person. She is so capable of explaining the proper body positions, and modifying for all levels of clients.
I’ve been doing yoga since the 70’s and Erin is the BEST yoga instructor ever! I feel wonderful after her classes. I’ve noticed improvements in flexibility, strength, and balance. I feel calmer and I have more energy. I feel rejuvenated! She is so knowledgable and teaches us how to connect body, mind and soul! She’s inspirational!" ~Chris A.
