Here at Good Health is a Habit, we want our yoga classes to serve as a mindful pause in your busy life, helping you connect with the mind, body and breath. You will be encouraged to breathe consciously and find strength and ease in your body as you move through various poses. Your practice is an opportunity to move mindfully, cultivate an intention and connect with yourself.
Join us for in-person classes starting June 1st! You may also continue to participate via Zoom or receive a recording! If the class times don't work with your schedule, no problem! Simply make a reservation for one and when the live class is finished, you will receive an email with access to the recorded class for the next 48 hours.

CHAIR YOGA 6-week Summer Series
July 5 - August 9th
Taught by Kathryn Gardner, chair yoga is one of the gentlest forms available and offers all of the benefits of other yoga classes. Founded on mindfulness of the breath, body, mind & heart, this class encourages students to find a balance between support and challenge. A series of options are given for the postures, allowing students to develop their yoga practice using the chair for balance and support, without having to get up or down from the floor. Chair yoga reduces stress while increasing strength, flexibility, range of motion & balance. All bodies are welcome, and no experience is necessary.
Taught by Susan Kane, this class is designed for those who are new to yoga and those with some experience who desire a slow paced class. Susan guides her students through a substantial warm up using a mindfulness approach to develop mind-body-breath awareness. Once the body is warmed up, Susan gently leads yoga stretches and asanas, with the goal of helping her students experience the many benefits a yoga practice offers. Susan's cheery disposition, honest laughter and thoughtful planning create a safe, fun and enriching yoga class.

Taught by Erin Girzone, this class is designed for anyone who is interested in or already enjoys yoga. Erin holds the space for all students, offering options during transitions and in poses so that everyone feels supported and can experience the benefits of yoga.
Erin integrates somatic movement into the practice to help students access traditional yoga poses more easily. She recognizes that the more connected and aware we are of how we use our bodies, the more we can move with ease - both on and off the mat. Through this process of self-awareness during the practice the mind is encouraged to stay in the present moment rather than getting lost down trails of thought. Because the mind and body are inextricably linked in this way, Erin's students benefit both mentally and physically.
First Wednesday of the month, 6:00 - 7:00pm
In this class, Susan begins with a few yoga stretches and then brings you into a comfortable resting pose. Next, Susan guides you through a meditation moving through the koshas; the physical, energy, mental, psychic and bliss bodies. Focused breathing and visualization follow, to leave you in a state of deep relaxation. Join Susan for yoga nidra and experience calm, clarity and peace throughout your being.
Join Erin Girzone for a beautifully serene setting out on the lake. No experience necessary, just a willingness to have fun and try something new.
